Football Thing editor Ian Davies worked in the commercial departments of Barnsley Football Club and Watford Football Club for a combined total of six years.
He was a regular programme contributor at both clubs and editor of the latter’s “The Hornet” newspaper.
In 2003 Ian left Watford to become a freelance sports marketing consultant and worked with several clubs, including Leicester City, Sheffield United and Northampton Town, on a wide variety of projects.
Ian writes for a number of online publications, including soccerlens.com, and recently launched footballthing.com
